Mary Kom – From Poverty to Boxing Champion

Kalpana Chawla – Reaching for the Stars
Kalpana Chawla, born in Haryana, dreamt of exploring the cosmos from a young age. Despite facing gender biases in the field of aerospace engineering, she pursued her passion, earning a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering and joining NASA as an astronaut. Kalpana Chawla became the first Indian woman in space, tragically losing her life during the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster.
